About me
Mabel Thompson is an alumna of Washington State University, holding a degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology. After graduating, she has focused on proactive community engagement and preventative justice working to create safe and engaging environments for youth. Throughout her 10+ years of youth development experience, she has had the opportunity to engage with the community in different roles from summer camps to community scholarship organizations, to after school programming. Most recently shifting from direct services to program support, she is passionate about helping staff grow in their skill set to create the best experience for their communities. When she is not at work, Mabel enjoys hiking, reading and hanging out with her dog.
